The Frontier Falcons pushed their score all the way to 35 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Tri-Central 41-35. Frontier lost against Tri-Central in their previous head to head on Friday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 41-35 score last time.
Jacob Cline went supernova for Tri-Central, rushing for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Cline is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played. Owen Tolle was another key contributor, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown.
Frontier now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Tri-Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.
Frontier will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-Central at 7:00 p.m. Tri-Central will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. They will be staying on the road to face off against Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on October 20th. The timing isn't great for Frontier: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Tri-Central has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
