Streetsboro is 1-9 against Coventry since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rockets will take on the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Thursday, Streetsboro got the win against Western Reserve Academy by a conclusive 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
Audriana Wert made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Wert was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Streetsboro and bumps their season record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Coventry, their record is now 8-6.
Streetsboro took their win against Coventry in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 13-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
