Blue Hill has gone 10-0 against Gibbon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Hill Bobcats will face off against the Gibbon Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Blue Hill will head out to face Gibbon after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Blue Hill lost to Silver Lake at home by a 33-19 margin. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Bobcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Reece Mlady put forth a good effort for the losing side as she almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 boards. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.
Meanwhile, Gibbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Ord, falling 68-26. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Chanticleers are ranked 128th).
Blue Hill will have to keep a close watch on Brooke Sell and Kassandra Trevino, a pair of players who had a big impact on Gibbon's prior game. Sell posted seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals, while Trevino had eight points in addition to six boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Trevino a new career-high in assists (four).
Even though they lost, Gibbon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
Gibbon's record is now 0-11. As for Blue Hill, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Blue Hill has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Gibbon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Blue Hill against Gibbon when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 56-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blue Hill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
