WYATT MITCHELL looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.

Meanwhile, Maple Mountain made easy work of Fremont on Tuesday and carried off an 11-1 victory. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Baylor Ward looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Maple Mountain let Mick Winward and Jeremiah Hall run wild. Winward got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Hall got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Hall is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Lincoln Beenfield was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Crimson Cliffs hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. However, it's not like Maple Mountain struggles in that department as they've averaged .385. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Crimson Cliffs couldn't quite get it done against Maple Mountain when the teams last played back in March of 2025 as they fell 6-3. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
