The Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks lost against the Glades Day Gators back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sheridan Hills Christian fell to Glades Day 30-25. Sheridan Hills Christian has not had much luck with Glades Day recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Sheridan Hills Christian saw an underclassman step up: Lily Carrington scored six points along with 15 rebounds and five steals. Carrington is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Spee, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Sheridan Hills Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Glades Day, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheridan Hills Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome Jewish Culture at 3:30 p.m. on January 29th. Glades Day will take on Glades Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
