The Boulder Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 70-41 victory over Mountain Range at home. The win was some much needed relief for Boulder as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Boulder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Megan Matthews, who scored 19 points. Matthews continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Remi Kingdom, who scored 16 points along with six steals.
Boulder pushed their record up to 5-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Mountain Range, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Boulder will be playing in front of their home fans against Fossil Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Fossil Ridge is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Mountain Range, they will head out on the road to face off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brighton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
