The Da Vinci Dragons were the 46-25 winner over the Anthony Wildcats when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Da Vinci fell to Anthony 57-51. Da Vinci just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Julie Cuellar had a dynamite game for Anthony, scoring 32 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleen Nunez, who scored 14 points.
Da Vinci has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Anthony, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Da Vinci will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Jesus Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Anthony, they will face off against Fabens at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
