Paradise is 8-2 against the Yellowjackets since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Paradise Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Boyd Yellowjackets at 6:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Paradise has four straight victories, the Yellowjackets have ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Paradise put the finishing touches on their 16th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They breezed by Pilot Point at home to the tune of 86-23. Paradise's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Paradise's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Channing Beauvais, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks, and Brittan Richey, who scored 19 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Richey has scored all season. Gazey Yates was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Boyd had to suffer through a rough 71-21 loss at the hands of the Rams. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Boyd in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost seven in a row.
