Basketball Recap: Clements' Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clements took a 21-point loss the last time they faced off against Russellville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Clements Colts skirted past the Russellville Golden Tigers 47-45. Winning may never get old, but the Colts sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Clements' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Clements and Russellville will both be playing West Point the next time they take the court. Clements will head out to face West Point at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, while Russellville will host them at 6:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
