That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fullington Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fullington Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kathryn Akin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Akin has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Jaye Beth Womble was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Fullington Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Twiggs Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

As for Twiggs Academy, they will challenge Memorial Day at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Twiggs Academy is facing Memorial Day at the right time seeing as Memorial Day is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
