Thunderbird hasn't had much luck against Paradise Honors recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Titans will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Paradise Honors will be up against a hot Thunderbird team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Titans put the hurt on Goldwater with a sharp 16-1 victory on Wednesday.
Alicia Flores was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Kenli Flores was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Brianna Nystuen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Paradise Honors got the win against Bradshaw Mountain on Thursday by a conclusive 19-2.
Like Thunderbird, Paradise Honors also got a great game from a two-way player: Olivia Jimenez Facio. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Jimenez Facio was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI.
In other batting news, Paradise Honors got a massive performance out of Abigail Rodriguez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lexi Jordan, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Paradise Honors was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .629. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Thunderbird's record is now 11-4. As for Paradise Honors, their record now sits at 17-2.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Thunderbird has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .488. However, it's not like Paradise Honors struggles in that department as they've averaged .540. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Thunderbird suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Paradise Honors in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
