The Louise Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 43-24 bruising from Schulenburg. Louise was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Schulenburg apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Schulenburg was led to victory by Kaylee Beyer and Alana Herzik. Beyer scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Herzik scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Louise's loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-18. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Schulenburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-23.
Coincidentally, Louise and Schulenburg will both be playing Ganado the next time they take the court. Schulenburg will head out to face Ganado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Louise will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
