The Holy Name Green Wave will take on the Lakeside Dragons in a tournament  on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
Holy Name gave up the first  runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They came out on top against Stow-Munroe Falls by a score of  11-6.

 Kylee Blinky was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Layla Williams was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Holy Name  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stow-Munroe Falls only posted  an  OBP of  .400.
Meanwhile, Lakeside came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Red Raiders as they made off with  an  18-8 win. With that  victory, the Dragons brought their scoring average up to 6.6  runs per game.
 Lakeside got a  massive  performance out of  Lyla Hamilton, who  went 3-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Lucie Cole, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Holy Name has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season. As for Lakeside, their win bumped their record up to 6-16.
 Lakeside's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Thursday. Holy Name has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.4  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lakeside, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.8  strikeouts. Will Holy Name keep running through batters, or will the Dragons buck the trend?
