On Wednesday, Dawson had just enough and edged Shadow Creek out 3-2.
Dawson hit Shadow Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jessica Ferrara,
Melanie Lagor, and
Ava Ramos.
Dawson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. As for Shadow Creek, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.
Dawson will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Alief Elsik at 7:30 p.m. As for Shadow Creek, they will head out on the road to square off against Alief Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alief Taylor's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
