The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Windham 75-73. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Windham lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anthony Green. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Green's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tahj Jones, who scored 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Norwich Free Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Windham, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.
