Early View Academy of Excellence were the 65-60 winner over the Rock County Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Early View Academy of Excellence took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rock County Christian on Friday.
Tony Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rock County Christian, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Thompson hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Derek Quinn, who scored nine points.
Early View Academy of Excellence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Rock County Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Early View Academy of Excellence will take on Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock County Christian, they will be playing at home against Maranatha Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maranatha Baptist is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
