The Pacific Indians will face off against the St. Clair Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pacific is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Last Monday, Pacific made easy work of St. James and carried off an 11-1 win. Considering the Indians have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Bennett Parker tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gavin Haddox, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Cayden Matthes was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.
Pacific always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. James only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Clair's offense. They came up short against St. Pius X on Tuesday, falling 10-0. It was the first time this season that the Bulldogs let down their fans at home.
Pacific pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for St. Clair, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
St. Clair's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pacific has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .444. It's a different story for St. Clair, though, as they've only averaged .360. Will they be able to contain Pacific's hitters?
Pacific beat St. Clair 6-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
