After flying high against the Miller Falcons on Wednesday, the Grove City Christian Eagles came back down to earth. Grove City Christian received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 64-50 to Harvest Prep. It was the first time this season that Grove City Christian let down their fans at home.
Grove City Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Langsdorf, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Vaughn, who scored 17 points.
Grove City Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Harvest Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grove City Christian will take on Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harvest Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Miller at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
