If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Wilder. On Thursday they will take on Notus at 7:00 PM. Wilder is currently enjoying a four-game winning streak and is looking to extend their dominance.
Last Friday, Wilder put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Rimrock and carried off a 51-20 victory. Among those leading the charge for Wilder was junior Pablo Martinez, who threw 3 TDs and picked up 70 yards on the ground. Martinez has been a consistent playmaker for Wilder as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Notus have been struggling to pick up a win, with their game against Idaho City making it six winless games in a row. Notus were completely outmatched, falling 0-46 to Idaho City.
Wilder's victory lifted them to 7-1 while Notus's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. Notus's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Wilder defensive front that amassed five sacks against Rimrock, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
