Auburn Mountainview has enjoyed the comforts of home their last six games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Stadium Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Auburn Mountainview beat Prairie 58-54. The win was just what Auburn Mountainview needed coming off of a 74-52 defeat in their prior contest.
Auburn Mountainview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Bowden, who scored 24 points along with two steals. Bowden hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Mande Wanlemvo was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
After soaring to a 20-point victory in their last game, Stadium came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Beamer by a score of 58-55.
Auburn Mountainview is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Stadium, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.
