Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Ouachita Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Sterlington by a score of 58-55. Ouachita Christian has struggled against Sterlington recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Cedar Creek's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Ouachita Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-12.
