Tojuan Peyton Jr. Delivers Best Performance of Season
Tojuan Peyton Jr. produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lanier to the win on Friday. Peyton Jr. rushed for 280 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.

Trey Smith was instrumental in extending Roswell's winning streak to four on Friday. Smith did his part (and then some), throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
Smith and Roswell will venture away from home to take on Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Smith will face off against Ben Vanden Bos, the Longhorns' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Milton Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to TJ Lester
Milton picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to TJ Lester. Lester was excellent, rushing for 143 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.6) per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played.
Milton pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Lester and Milton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Johns Creek at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.
