Corner Canyon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 83-60 margin over Mountain Ridge. That 23 points margin sets a new team best for Corner Canyon this season.
Corner Canyon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Feroah led the charge by scoring 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Feroah has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Bendinger, who scored 23 points.
Meanwhile, Bingham faced Herriman in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bingham took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Herriman on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (62), Bingham still had to take the loss.
Corner Canyon's victory was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Bingham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
Everything came up roses for Corner Canyon against Bingham when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 87-51 win. With Corner Canyon ahead 47-27 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
