The Boys Town Cowboys''s game on Thursday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 30-29 to Fort Calhoun. Boys Town lost against Fort Calhoun in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 32-25 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Boys Town lost, one person who can't be blamed is Taylor Jacobs. Despite the final result, he rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns.
Boys Town's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Fort Calhoun, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
Boys Town does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fort Calhoun is also done with their season.
