Silsbee lost to Hamshire-Fannett back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Silsbee Tigers blew past the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns 10-2. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Matsyn Morris made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryder Blythe, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landen Lee, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

The win made it two in a row for Silsbee and bumps their season record up to 10-2.
