The St. Pauls Bulldogs stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Midway 60-29 on the road. Given St. Pauls' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Midway is ranked 385th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Pauls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zhariana Shipman, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Jashontae Harris was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was McKenzie Williams, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Peyton Herring, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Even though they lost, Midway were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Pauls only posted three assists.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Pauls will square off against Red Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Pauls will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Red Springs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Midway, they will head out on the road to square off against Fairmont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairmont's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Midway's offense will have their work cut out for them.
