Shipley pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 81-59 defeat at the hands of Pennington. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), Shipley still had to take the loss.
Several Shipley players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gyasi Miller, who scored 17 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Littles, Jr, who scored 14 points along with five assists.
Shipley dropped their record down to 4-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Pennington, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Shipley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pennington also has no future games currently scheduled.
