In what's become a running theme this season, the Wenonah Dragons gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 64-36 victory over John Carroll Catholic. With Wenonah ahead 38-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Samarian Franklin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with six steals and five assists. She hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakerria Ringstaff, who scored nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Wenonah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. As for John Carroll Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.
Wenonah will head out on the road to take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pleasant Grove knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully the Dragons like a good challenge. John Carroll Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
