The Southern Boone Eagles are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Hickman Kewpies at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Southern Boone will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Hickman is ranked 12th).
Southern Boone's 22-11 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 69-51 to Eldon.
Meanwhile, Hickman waltzed into their match Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Marquette at home to the tune of 73-43. Hickman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 27 points or more this season.
Southern Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hickman, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Southern Boone came up short against Hickman when the teams last played back in February, falling 51-45. Can Southern Boone avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
