The Westbrook Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Presidio Blue Devils at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westbrook has four straight wins, Presidio has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Westbrook earned a 7-2 victory over Hamlin.

Bryleigh Larsen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.
In other batting news, Kenlee Gilbreath was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Paislee Muller, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Presidio scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 18-10 to Lake View. Even if the Blue Devils couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Presidio got a big performance out of Camila Ortega, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those runs were Ortega's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Vazquez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Presidio's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Westbrook, their record is now 4-0.
