The Ripley Tigers will venture away from home to  take on the Westview Chargers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The last four games Ripley has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Tuesday, Ripley needed a bit of extra time to put away Gibson County. They had just enough and edged out the Pioneers  10-9. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Westview came up short against South Gibson on Tuesday and fell  8-3. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Lakyn Rogers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and one  triple. She is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  got three or more in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Alexis Evans, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Ripley's win bumped their record up to 7-8-1. As for Westview, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
