Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitehouse). They never let the Tyler Lions get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Whitehouse has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Tyler, they dropped their record down to 4-22 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Whitehouse is set to square off against their familiar foe Hallsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.6, the Bobcats 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Tyler will challenge rival Nacogdoches at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
