Holmes didn't get the result they wanted in their first game with Sotomayor on Tuesday. They will be looking for a result a little better than the 3-1 loss they were dealt on Tuesday when they meet later in the season. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sotomayor apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Holmes has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season. As for Sotomayor, their win bumped their record up to 1-3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holmes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harlan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sotomayor, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Jay at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th.
