Silver Creek was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Mateo Lopez and
Matthew Orozco Alcaraz, who scored all three of Silver Creek's goals. The pair have combined for a total of seven so far this season.
The win got Silver Creek back to even at 8-8-2. As for Overfelt, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9-1.
Silver Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Silver Creek's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Overfelt, they will head out on the road to square off against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pioneer is coming into the match with eight straight defeats at home, meaning Overfelt will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
