Meanwhile, Alexander entered their tilt with the Raiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Alexander came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 46-35 on Friday.
Alexander's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabella Italiano, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ibidunni, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Langston Hughes' defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Alexander, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Langston Hughes against the Cougars in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 68-31 win. With Langston Hughes ahead 40-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
