The Sotomayor WILDCATS will challenge the Stevens Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sotomayor has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 170 points over their last three games.
Sotomayor is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Holmes: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the WILDCATS blew the Huskies out of the water with a 62-9 final score. The win continues a trend for the WILDCATS in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.

Cameron Grady

| 10/04/25 @ Holmes | 2 |
| 09/25/25 vs Marshall | 2 |
Sotomayor's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Cameron Grady, who gained 216 total yards and four touchdowns, and Chauncey Moon, who threw for 214 yards and five TDs on only 15 passes. Grady also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the WILDCATS are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. Xavier Victor was another key player, picking up 65 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Sotomayor proved: they limited Holmes to a paltry 1.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Aaron Adejobi for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sotomayor didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.2.
Sotomayor's defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jonah Moore and Braxton King, who racked up four sacks between them. Sotomayor got some further help from Ayden Williams: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Stevens' game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Warren by a score of 24-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered against the Warriors since October 7, 2016.
The victory got Sotomayor back to even at 3-3. As for Stevens, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.
Everything went Sotomayor's way against Stevens in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Sotomayor made off with a 48-28 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Falcons' Nathan Lopez, who rushed for 96 yards and two scores, and also caught one TD. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the WILDCATS to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
