After two games on the road, Northwest Christian School is heading back home. They will take on the St. George's Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Christian School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, Northwest Christian School took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 75-31 victory over Chewelah.
Northwest Christian School relied on the efforts of Ben Slade, who scored 15 points, and Asher West, who scored 20 points. The contest was West's third in a row with at least ten points. Ben Bak was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Meanwhile, even though Reardan scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, St. George's still came out on top. St. George's took their contest against Reardan 68-57. Given St. George's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Reardan is ranked 161st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Northwest Christian School's win lifted them to 3-1 while Chewelah's loss dropped them down to 3-2.
Northwest Christian School was able to grind out a solid victory over St. George's in their previous matchup back in February, winning 65-52. Does Northwest Christian School have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. George's turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
