Kaston Vega Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Stamford picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kaston Vega. Vega was excellent, rushing for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Vega must have Cisco's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Vega rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Loboes duked it out back in October of 2023.

On Friday, Hawley got the W thanks in part to Allyn Barker playing the best football he has all season. Barker rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made eight total tackles.
The victory for Hawley keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Barker will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Olney on Friday.

Mccomack Came Up Big in Olney's 35-6 Win
Camron McComack's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 123+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
This year, McComack has averaged 60.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 119 rushing yards.
