They were the victim of a tough 38-17 defeat at the hands of the Lions. The loss means Academe of the Oaks is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
Trinity Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Meghan Cochran out in front who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Zamor, who scored six points.
Academe of the Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Trinity Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Academe of the Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Prep, they will face off against Horizon Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Prep is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, meaning Horizon Christian Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
