The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Vincent, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Northwest Halifax blew past Southeast Halifax, posting a 63-26 victory on the road. Given Northwest Halifax's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Southeast Halifax is ranked 588th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
