The Goleman Gators can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Jackson 43-7 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Goleman has posted since November 29, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goleman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Akayla Edwards, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Edwards is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Berman, who scored seven points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Goleman's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Goleman the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on January 17th. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Hialeah Gardens: 29.4, Goleman: 23) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to take on Miami Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
