Meanwhile, Downtown Doral's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Calusa Prep 70-31.
Juan Diego Castro put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Sebastian Bueno was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Jewish Culture's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Downtown Doral, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
