The Johnson County Sports Association Lions were the 51-50 winner over the Stephenville FAITH Knights when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Johnson County Sports Association was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 43-42 to the Knights.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gage Bradley, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocks. Bradley has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Green, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Johnson County Sports Association's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Stephenville FAITH, their victory bumped their record up to 5-16.
Johnson County Sports Association does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stephenville FAITH is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Texas Wind will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.
