On Saturday Custer take on Stanley County at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close contest.
Everything went Custer's way against Little Wound last Friday as they made off with a 41-12 win. No one had a better game by the numbers than junior Micaiah Grace, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of the most memorable plays of the match was Grace's 52-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, Stanley County were able to grind out a solid victory over Wagner, winning 28-14.
Their wins bumped Stanley County to 1-2 and Custer to 3-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
