The Mercy Tigers stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Lauralton Hall 54-33. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-11.
Lauralton Hall's loss came despite strong showings from Lauren Marsden and Maura Bosse. Marsden scored 14 points, while Bosse scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Bosse hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Amyah Kelly, who scored four points.
The win was the third in a row for Mercy, bringing their record for this year to 10-3. As for Lauralton Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Mercy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Career Magnet at 6:00 p.m. As for Lauralton Hall, they will head out on the road to take on Hillhouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
