The biggest upset of the week belonged to W.S. Neal, who took down 57th ranked T.R. Miller, 34-26.
The Eagles moved up to 109 from 142 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region 1. W.S. Neal was able to make move up by defeating the Tigers 34-26.
5-foot-11 quarterback Chase Short of Straughn is the league leader in passing yards this season with 511. He has also thrown six touchdowns. On the ground, Excel's Dekota Welker has rushed for 743 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Justin Adkins. The Opp star has 10 catches for 248 yards.
