The Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners waltzed into Thursday's game with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Washington Montessori 66-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pamlico Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Zac Whitley was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. James Howard was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Pamlico Christian Academy has yet to lose a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-4 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Washington Montessori, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Pamlico Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Baptist Church at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington Montessori, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ocracoke at 7:00 p.m.
