The Dublin Gaels will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Miramonte Matadors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Dublin barely beat Campolindo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gaels put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 14-4 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gaels.
Bailey Lowell tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Sydney Salazar was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cat Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Miramonte beat Redwood Christian 11-8 on Thursday.
Abby Warren was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one triple.
In other batting news, Lucy Daoust was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Maddie McKim, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Miramonte hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Redwood Christian struck out 15 times.
Dublin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Miramonte, their record is now 4-0.
Everything went Dublin's way against Miramonte in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Dublin made off with an 18-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gaels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
