Foley lost against Flomaton back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Foley Lions fell 7-3 to the Flomaton Hurricanes. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kolby Jordan was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Jordan was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Jordan wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Luke Bledsoe, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Bledsoe has posted since back in February.

Foley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Flomaton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Foley will head out on the road to challenge Mary G. Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flomaton, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Cottage Hill Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m.
