Westville came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 48-42 W over the Martinsville Bluestreaks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Several Bluestreaks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaiden Simons, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Adam Parcel was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Westville's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Martinsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Westville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-42 win against Windsor on the 27th. Martinsville has also already played their next contest, a 69-45 victory against Chrisman on the 27th.
